Livni wants to invite Erdogan
What the heck was she thinking? Former Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni wants to invite Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Israel to make some of his special, inflammatory speeches (Hat Tip: Joshua I).
Hatnua Chairwoman Tzipi Livni addressed Israel-Turkey diplomatic ties, saying: "We must invite Erdogan to Israel and restabilize (the two countries') diplomatic ties."Inviting him here will do nothing. Groveling in front of him might or might not work, but why would we want to give up our dignity for an anti-Semitic pig?
Livni also referred to coalition negotiations, as she noted: "These are pivotal days – with the forming of the new coalition and the visit of (US President Barack) Obama – days that could produce opportunities for a better future."Well, maybe, but not if Livni's party is part of it.
