Obama gives Hezbullah-dominated Lebanon 200 armored personnel carriers

The Obama administration has given Hezbullah-dominated Lebanon 200 M113 armored personnel carriers.
The United States has given 200 armored vehicles to Lebanon, the Lebanese army said on Monday, bolstering forces that have been struggling to deal with sectarian violence inflamed by the war across the border in Syria.

The M113 armored personnel carriers (APCs) arrived by ship to Beirut on Sunday, the army said in a statement. A Lebanese security source said the army now had 1,200 APCs.

A US diplomat said the shipment of vehicles would support the Lebanese armed forces' "capabilities and their mobility and ability to respond to crises. It is also to protect borders and internal stability".

The United States has provided more than $140 million in equipment and assistance to the Lebanese armed forces in the past six months, including six Huey 2 helicopters, a 42-metre coastal security craft, more than 1,000 guns - including grenade launchers - and 38 million rounds of ammunition.
38 million rounds of ammunition... what could go wrong?

Obama to AIPAC, May 2011: "So make no mistake, we will maintain Israel’s qualitative military edge" Hahahahaha .....you didn't think he was serious....did you?

I hope they paid well!
That stuff is OLD JUNK from the time of the Viet-Nam war!! Just the paint is new... ;-)
It costs more to dispose of it than to give it away (that's why the Gulf War was good business in 1991... ;-)
Kalashnikov bullets pierce that armor, as 16 of our soldiers found out paying with their life in August 1996 in Shchem.

Of course, the problem is that Israeli bullets (except for the M60, which is 7.62 mm) DO NOT pierce that, since some IDIOT, years back chose 5.56 mm Nato caliber according to the logic that a 5.56 mm bullet that injures enemies is better than a 7.62mm that kills them, since it takes at least two man to carry an injured soldier...
YET...that is an IDIOTIC REASONING in Israel, because: a) Arabs do not pick-up their injured; 2) it is NOT a war where an army is facing another one, but a war mainly fought against guerrilla type of enemies, where you better kill with the first bullet, so they can't shoot back.
That's why our BEST elite troops use the Kalashnikov (which is 7.62 mm) and the Uzi (which is 9 mm)

Actually, NATO 5.56x45 ammunition will penetrate thicker steel than will 7.62x39 ammunition. The 7.62x39 is not 7.62x51, as in what my M-60 or my M-21 used.

Regardless, it is clear Obama is loyal to his Islamist kindred, and is continuing to strengthen them throughout north Africa and the Middle East.

We American Christians pray for the peace and safety of our brother Jews and for the peace of Jerusalem. We also pray the prayer of Judas for Obama and his liberal politicians, "That their days in office may be few, and their office given to another!"

Sorry Brian but, from ON THE FIELD and THEORETICAL experience you have it wrong.
16 dead Israeli soldiers in Shchem, as I said, are there to prove which ammo goes through M113 and which doesn't.
And NOT ONLY with Teflon-tipped ammo quite normal in Kalatch used by pals terrorists which blew even cement barriers into pieces.
Check, among others, a couple of places to SEE what the 7.62/39 does penetrate compared to 5.56/45:

JUst check one of the comments at http://www.gunslot.com/blog/m16-vs-ak-47 and you'll se how many 5.56 Nato bullets it takes to stop someone... Check the comments of rodeocowboy and USMCFiscella... Why do you think they were in COMBAT and they use almost the same words I used, as opposed to the usual B.S. from the brass?
