After the intense rains we have had here this past week, many of the Gaza tunnels have flooded or collapsed. After three days of intense rainfall, many of the tunnels under Gaza's border with Egypt are flooded or collapsed, an Egyptian security official told Ma'an.The woman in the picture is watching her house flood in Rafah. Many of the tunnels are under people's homes.
The underground trade has halted during the stormy weather due to concerns that many tunnels remain unstable, the official in Egyptian Rafah said.

I will go to sleep with an enormous
grin on my face! There is good news tonight! I can't stop grinning, though! ;)
It's unfortunate about the people's homes but they have only themselves to blame for allowing these tunnels to be built under their homes. But maybe they got money for it. Or maybe they were coerced.
I have no idea if my comment was posted or not so I'm writing it again.
