Surprise: Hamas stored rockets near Kindergartens, mosques

Well, here's one reason that the IDF waited until late in the day to target those long-range rockets. Not only does Hamas shoot rockets at Israeli schools, they also shoot them from 'Palestinian' schools (picture from 2008).

IDF Spokesman Brig.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai blamed Palestinians in Gaza for storing weapons in residential areas of the Strip, saying, "unfortunately, some of the targets are near kindergartens and near mosques."

Saying the IDF is doing its utmost to make precision strikes, he added, "Kindergartens should be a place for learning; mosques should be a place for praying."

Unfortunately, only civilized people think that way.
