If you support the 'Palestinians'....

Peter Wehner asks some good questions about the 'Palestinians,' including the one above, writes some things with which I disagree, and then comes up with this home run at the end.
Those who profess solidarity with the Palestinian people and want them to live lives of dignity and peace—which is an admirable and humane impulse—should focus their energy and efforts less on Israel and more on replacing the political elite and reforming the political culture of Palestinians who will not let their burning hatred for the Jewish state dim, even for a moment. Unless and until that happens, no amount of Israeli good will and no amount of territorial concessions will lead to peace. It will, in fact, only inflame the passions of Israel’s enemies and draw the Jewish and Palestinian people closer to days of violence, days of mourning, days of war. Surely that is something that those who long to be peacemakers and agents of reconciliation should understand.
Indeed. There's really nothing to talk about right now.

Let's assume there is some unknown number of Muslims in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan who might, under some circumstances, be willing to live in harmony with Israel. But is it not the case that, barring some radical change in Muslim political philosophy based, as it is, on Koranic injunctions to kill, conquer, dhimmify Jews and other infidels, there will always be a significant number of radical Muslims who will not be willing to live amicably with Israel?

This is the smoking gun. This is what demonstrates the agenda isn't to create a 23rd or 24th arab state.... it's to conquer the one Jewish State.

Perhaps the Jordanians and Egyptians didn't offer Gaza and the "West Bank" to the palestinians because the PLO's original charter from 1964 explicitly says they have no claim to that land.
