Dad z"l
Some of you might have figured out already what happened. Right after the door of my plane closed in Los Angeles last night, my Dad passed away. The funeral (for those in Boston) is at 1:00 this afternoon at the Baker Street Cemetery - graveside service only because it's Friday afternoon.
I am returning to Israel on a late night flight on Saturday night. I will be sitting shiva at home, God willing, from Monday morning (Sunday night if I can get the airline to be nice and let me have a higher priced ticket for the same price) until Thursday morning in Israel.
No music videos for the next year.
May we only know of joyous occasions.

Carl, my I offer my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family on your father's passing.
My own parents passed away decades ago and not a day goes by that I don't think about them. A good, loving parent shapes one's own soul and is an eternal blessing.
