Sderot home hit by rocket for second time

Shavua tov, a good week to everyone.

A home in Sderot was hit by rocket fire from Gaza for the second time on Friday morning. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
A home in the southern Israeli town of Sderot was hit by a Qassam rocket fired from the Gaza Strip on Friday morning. This was the second time that the home had been hit, and one woman was treated for shock following the strike.

The "Red Alert" siren went off in Sderot and the adjacent Shaar Hanegev Regional Council around 5.50 a.m. One rocket hit the roof of the home before landing in the yard of the house next door. A second rocket landed in an open area of the regional council.

Limor Afflalo, whose home was hit, told reporters, "it happened to us again. It's just draining. Thank God there's only been damage to property and no one was hurt. It's a big miracle – but at eventually we're going to run out of miracles." She said they would not leave their home. "We left in 2007 because of the Qassam rockets, but I can't leave again, and now we're back to the same reality."
On the one hand, one might think that Israel cannot respond seriously to rocket fire now because it could be at war with Iran soon. On the other hand, maybe it makes sense to use this type of incident to neuter Hamas in advance of an attack on Iran, while our troops are not busy with Hezbullah or Syria or Iran. Hmmm.
