Hamas almost gets one right
On his Facebook page (yes, Hamas does Facebook), Senior Hamas official Izzat al-Rishq accused President Obama and the Democrats of 'begging for Jewish votes' by amending their platform to reinstate language about Jerusalem that was in the 2008 platform. Al-Rishq added "Jerusalem was and will always be the eternal capital of Palestine, and of the Arab and Muslim nations."Al-Rishq almost got it right. It's not so much that Obama is begging for Jewish votes as that he is begging for Jewish money to run his campaign. He's far behind Mitt Romney in fundraising and far, far behind what he himself raised in 2008.
And check out this quote from the Arab American Institute in the same article:
“[The] amendment to reinsert the language on Jerusalem was a clear case of putting pandering above responsible politics,” the Arab-American Institute said in statement put out after the amendment was made, saying it “flies in the face of decades of policy and the positions of President Obama, international peacemakers, and the American public at large.”And they're almost right too. It does fly in the face of President Obama's position and in the face of 'international peacemakers.' But the rest of that statement is wrong.

He's talking about "muscular Zionism." Well, OK, but I'd like to see "muscular Zionism" maintaining a County Clerk's office with the GIS layers, title search info, etc etc. The presentation of the "settler movement" as some kind of radical squatters is not true, but is continued by the people themselves by not Embracing the Mudane by setting up Counties and County Clerks. Displaying the documentation in an organized fashion that shows up as Accidental Info now and then on the internet.

I'm unsure from this article whether David has noticed the $billions in Green $lu$h that some Israelis have been accepting from the current Obama Team. And whether he sees it a a rotting of "muscular Israel". Given the Dem campaign ads that Pres. Peres, Ehud Barak, Minister Liberman, Amb Oren, etc etc are showing up in, without objection, except the blatant misquoting of Oren, with no corresponding Republican quotes... I think the Green $lu$h has done its job for the Obama re-election effort. Unless they actually DO AGREE on things with Obama and WANT him re-elected. Which would be a MAJOR problem for me, as Obama is demolishing my country and my chldren's future prospects... Hmmm.. I wish David would look into this and see what he thinks is happening.
