It's come to this: 'Something' is planned and we're racing to praise it
Shavua tov, a good week to everyone. It was reported on Thursday that 'some kind of memorial' is planned at the London Olympic games to the 11 Israelis who were murdered by 'Palestinian' terrorists 40 years ago. Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon is already gushing with praise.
“If this is true, it is a tremendous development,” Ayalon said. “It shows the International Olympic Committee is listening to the many voices in the international community, parliaments and world leaders who have stated loud and clear that the call for remembrance at the opening ceremony is a humanitarian obligation, not a political statement,” said Ayalon, who has spearheaded efforts to get a moment of silence included in the opening ceremony.'If this is true'? 'Being considered' (but not yet decided)? And what kind of memorial will it be? A memorial that mentions that 11 Olympic athletes were murdered but ignores the fact that they were Israelis and that they were murdered for being Israelis and Jews?
The Jewish Chronicle in London reported Thursday that Sebastian Coe, the chairman of the London Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, told staff that a memorial was being considered for the opening ceremony.
Diplomatic officials in Israel said that the nature of the memorial was not known, but that what was important from Israel’s perspective was that it take place at the opening ceremony – and not at some side venue – because the opening ceremony will be attended by tens of thousands of people and watched by hundreds of millions around the globe.
A memorial like that is worthless in my book. Let's wait and see what this 'memorial' is before we rush out to praise it.

We should be doing our own memorials. The Euros who had no issue with the Israeli athletes being slaughtered in '72 will use every opportunity to delegitimize the Jews anytime, anywhere. Please, Israel, don't hand power over you to these creeps. They were deatheaters in '72 (I lived in Germany when this atrocity happened) and they are deatheaters now. NOTHING has changed. A continent that sent the Jews to the ovens and when they think no one is listening, they'll wish the job had been more thoroughly finished... Don't give them ANY power over you (or us). Do you hear, Danny Ayalon???
