'Thousands' turn out for Jew hatred rally in Istanbul

I know that there are Turks out there who don't hate Israel and don't hate Jews, but I suspect that they are in hiding from the Islamist Erdogan regime, and therefore did not come out to try to counter this.
Thousands of people chanted slogans and waved banners against Israel in Istanbul on Thursday in a rally marking the two year anniversary of the IDF raid of a Gaza-bound flotilla ship in which nine Turkish pro-Palestinian activists were killed, AFP reported.

The rally was organized by one of the main groups behind the Gaza flotilla, the IHH, widely considered a terrorist organization by a number of bodies, the Israeli government among them.
YNet adds:
The crowd gathered in iconic Taksim Square under the banner of the pro-Islamic Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), one of the organizers of the flotilla that tried to break an Israeli sea blockade of the Hamas-controlled Palestinian territory.

The demonstrators, many of them women, chanted slogans and waved banners against Israel, once a strong regional ally of Turkey, and asked that the perpetrators of the raid be held accountable.

...

An Arab-Israeli delegation is taking part in the events marking two years since the flotilla raid. Among the delegation's members is Sheikh Raed Salah, leader of the Islamic Movement's northern branch.
I wonder how many 'Israeli Arabs' saw fit to take part in this shrill expression of hatred. And then they wonder why Israeli Jews cannot trust them....
