Sandmonkey on CNN: Obama backing Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in hope of Sunni alliance against Iran
Here's Mahmoud Salem, whom most of you know as the Sandmonkey, an Egyptian blogger, talking about the Egyptian Presidential election. The Sandmonkey believes that the Obama administration may be backing the Muslim Brotherhood candidate, Mohamed Morsi, in the hope of creating a Sunni Muslim alliance against Iran. Islamic somebody or other. As long as it's some group of Medieval theocratic fascists, Obama will support them. He's already said, through Panetta that if the Army doesn't give the country over the to the MB they can kiss their $2 billion a year of military aid good bye. So Obama has made it a cornerstone of his mideast policy to give billions in the state of the art weaponry to the Muslim Brotherhood while letting Turkey run wild doing pretty much whatever they like. If there's anyone left who still thinks that Obama isn't pushing to actually hand Iran a nuke at this point, they are delusional. And the only thing stopping him from doing that isn't his hatred for the Jews, it's his fear of the Saudis.
