Video of Tel Aviv Naqba day protest

Here's video of the Naqba day protest at Tel Aviv University on Monday.

Let's go to the videotape.

The crowd was more or less split between those attending the memorial and a particularly raucous crowd of counter-demonstrators waving Israeli flags, singing the national anthem, honking horns and drowning out the memorial ceremony, with some protesters occasionally chanting “Havenu Nakba Alechem” (“We brought a Nakba upon you”)
'Havenu Nakba Alechem.' Heh.

Just an FYI... this week is Hate Israel Week at UC San Diego. Remember that this is the same yearly event where David Horowitz outed the MSA student who is all in for killing Jews wherever they are. The JIP (justice in Pal) side of the event has been funded at $23k+ in student fees, twice as much as last year. The Tritons for Israel planned a parallel and substantial Israel Solidarity Week.

And absolutely none of this insurgency against Jewish students, aided and abetted by the University of California administration, shows up in the glossy fundraising Alumni magazine UCSD puts out. Not a peep for a decade now. And you won't be able to find it on the campus calendar or anywhere on the ucsd.edu website. This is UCSD, which has become one of the top biotech universities. And their alumni, giving them $millions, have zero concept of this horrid event, put on with university money year after year on Library Walk, where it is very difficult to avoid just going to classes.

When I was there, we had Cesar Chavez and the Farmworkers, which is how alumni explain away any engagement in calling for the UCSD administration to stop putting on the Hate Israel Week event or even just moving it off campus. However, the Farmworker people were the nicest people you would ever hope to meet. They did not want all planetary Jews (or anybody else!) rounded up for easy slaughter. Wake up folks!
