'The singer of the decay in Israel'

This is how the Israeli consulate in New York is advertising singer Eyal Golan.

I can't say I disagree, but still....

(Whatever that "but still" link is, it crashed my browser. Hmm.) In other news, I actually love this guy's music. I am, however, Hebrew impaired, so I imagine I like it because I can't understand his words of decay. This CD that he did live with Ethnix is my first "sound track" of Israel. I had 2 trips cancelled in the early '00s because of restaurant bombings... and finally got there in summer '06 just in time for the rockets. And I've always listened to the happy sound of this Ethnix/Eyal Golan CD and wished I could see them live. I did see Mosh Ben Ari live in Hagoshrim the day before the rockets flew from Leb. I don't think the word "decay" fits. I think it is Leftism from top to bottom (in the whole West, not just Israel) that is leading to a bad bad result. http://www.israel-music.com/ethnix/live/

Wait! You mean that was a typo "decay" and not an insult from the consulate? Oh. Oooops! Oh well, that's why I posted a defensive rant... because I didn't agree with the typo!
