Obama pushes back at Bibi's freebies

On Sunday, Prime Minister Netanyahu told US Senator Joe Lieberman (I-Ct) that Iran had been given a 'freebie' by the P-5+1, which scheduled the next round of 'negotiations' for May 23.
“My initial impression is that Iran has been given a ‘freebie,’” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday, at the start of a meeting with US Senator Joe Lieberman (ID-CT). “It has got five weeks to continue enrichment without any limitation, any inhibition.

He added: “I think Iran should take immediate steps. First, stop all enrichment, take out all enrichment material and dismantle the nuclear facility in Qom. I believe that the world’s greatest practitioner of terrorism must not have the opportunity to develop atomic bombs.”
Later on Sunday, President Obama pushed back at Netanyahu (Hat Tip: Lance K).
Exposing a rift with Israel, President Barack Obama on Sunday insisted that the United States has not “given anything away” in new talks with Iran as he defended his continued push for a diplomatic resolution to the dispute over Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

Obama said he refused to let the talks turn into a “stalling process,” but believed there was still time for diplomacy.

...

Obama shot back: “The notion that somehow we’ve given something away or a ‘freebie’ would indicate Iran has gotten something. In fact, they’ve got some of the toughest sanctions that they’re going to be facing coming up in just a few months if they don’t take advantage of these talks.”

Still, in a news conference here, Obama warned to Iran, “The clock’s ticking.”
Obama's wrong. Iran now has five more weeks to work unfettered and is guaranteed that no one will disturb them. Every day, Iran gets closer to a nuclear weapon. Why five weeks? Why not five days? Why not continuous talks until smoke comes out if Obama is so convinced talks can succeed?

In the end, Obama's timidity and indecisiveness is going to bring about a war that only Iran wants. And if Obama gets his way, that war will be fought on Iran's terms and not on the West's terms. Netanyahu has no choice but to proceed as if Obama were not there.

As an American this is agonizing to watch. The public show of weakness is humiliating.

Iran fought Iraq to a bloody eight year stalemate. We defeated Iraq soundly in a matter of hours.

We could do the same to Iran if we didn't have a pathetic coward wetting himself in the White House.

Oh YES, Iran got a freebie: THEY GOT MORE TIME, and that's all they need and want.
Naturally, one can believe "honourable men" as Ash-ton and Oh-Bummer, but I prefer what is suggested in the Hallel that we sang so many times in joy last week:
"It's better to rely on G-od than to trust the powerful".

Obama has a real plan: force Israel to act against the nukes and then try to blame the fallout all on them. This way what needs to be done is done, ultimately with US involvement, he avoids looking bad in an election year, and if Israel strikes before the election he has something plausible to explain to US liberals (plausible for them, anyways), ie "what am I supposed to do? I didn't install a right wing government in Israel".

But by setting up the Jews for the blame, he may be unwittingly aiding America's neo nazi movement which is already trying to spark a race war against blacks, a race war that would ultimately be blamed on the Jews. This is a real threat, I believe, and Obama blaming Israel for starting a "US led" war that the US never wanted plays right into our biggest enemies hands.

I wonder if there will be a massive group aliya to Israel from America at some point in the future.
