Is Bill Maher pro-Israel?
Reader Mike P sent me this video of Bill Maher with an argument that Maher is pro-Israel.I live in Israel, do not watch American television, and have no way of judging whether that assertion is correct, and whether this video is typical.

The other thing Mike P wrote is that the contraception controversy is the kiss of death for getting Jews to vote Republican. That may well be true, but I doubt those Jews would have voted Republican anyway.

Really? Do American Jews really think that Catholic institutions should be forced to provide birth control and abortifacients? How would he feel if Obama decided that Jewish institutions must provide non-Kosher food to their non-Jewish patients or clients?
I would not say he is pro-Israel as his last phrase was "let's not sh#t a sh#tter".(??)He was making an argument to bring up the garbage that Oliver Stone and the rest thinks. Utterly horrific!!
What comes next? until we see the whole video - unless they move to another subject. I noticed that gross kapo lesbian on the left, sitting on that panel of nazis, totally cool with it.
Carl, I watch Bill all the time. He is extremely pro-Israel. He has gotten into fights with a variety of guests(and anti-semites)about this. He also has been harshly attacked for his attacks on religion(but he has most harshly attacked Muslims). He has been attacked for going after Muslim men and how they treat woman. I believe this stems from his Father who was Jewish but this is just a guess. He has had Bibi on his show in the past.
