Israeli airheads want Bibi to postpone Iran strike until after Madonna show
Some Israelis have different priorities than the rest of us. They are asking Prime Minister Netanyahu to avoid a strike on Iran's nuclear facilities until after Madonna's concert here on May 29.In a newly launched Facebook page, Israeli fans of U.S. pop megastar Madonna are pleading Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold off any such plans to strike Iran until the Queen of Pop's planned show in Tel Aviv on May 29.Well, yeah, but the other one that happened on Thursday is over the 'Palestinians' and not over Iran, and it makes you wonder why Cat Power (whoever that is - at least I have heard of Madonna) ever planned to come here in the first place.
The group, simply and directly enough, is named: "Bibi don't start a war with Iran until after Madonna's show on May 29."
While the, currently relatively unpopulated, Facebook page could seem like a case of dealing with trivialities in the face of all-out war with Iran," Israeli Madonna fans' fears are not unsubstantiated, with a distinguished list of artists bailing out on Israeli shows in the last minute over political crises and wars.
The Facebook page - which is here - has 199 likes (fewer than my fan page) and features a picture of Bibi arm-in-arm with Madonna. Good grief....
