Europeans in a panic over possibility of Iran attack

A European diplomat in Islamabad is claiming that Pakistan will have 'no choice' but to attack Israel if Israel attacks Iran. And that's just one symptom of a general European panic.
The diplomat's statement raised the specter of putting a nuclear-armed Pakistan at odds with Israel, which is widely believed to have its own significant nuclear arsenal.
Isn't Pakistan supposed to be an American ally? I know, I know, silly question.
To some, the greatest risk of an attack was to the moribund world economy. Nick Witney, former head of the EU's European Defense Agency, said "the political and economic consequences of an Israeli attack would be catastrophic for Europe" since the likely spike in the price of oil alone "could push the entire EU, including Germany, into recession."

He said this could lead to "messy defaults" by countries like Greece and Italy, and possibly cause a collapse of the already-wobbly euro.
Boo. Hoo. Why did you sleazes continue to trade with Iran if you knew that these were going to be the consequences? Did you think we were just going to take it on the chin for you?

What could go wrong?

It is a win-win situation for the Europeans. Perhaps they can rid themselves of Israel and at the same time blame the Jews for their economic debacle. Instead of kicking the can down the road, they can collapse immediately upon hearing the explosions in Tehran. Who would doubt that it was the fault of the Jews.

i feel this rhetoric is take away the citizens attention on their failing and falling economy and prevent anarchy or another arab spring there. i dont think its panic of a war. its panic the citizens are going to wake up and ask where their money, pensions and all are.

The global economy / the world itself can go to hell for all I care if the world plans on sacrificing the Jews to pop up their ailing economies, it did not go well the last time the world demonstrated that their claims of integrity was all lies when they did choose interest over integrity and got war as a result.

Only one word needs to be said about Germany, completely obliterating any protestations they make about being over their murderous anti-semitism: Siemens

Iran will launch of salvo of missiles at Israel. Israel will respond. The UN/EU will jump ugly screaming for the heads of all the Jews over their 'unprovoked war crimes'. It may even result in low intensity military action by Europe against Israel. At the least it will result in a complete economic blockade and a no fly zone.

You have to see that after a thousand years of trying to exterminate the Jews this is truly and deeply what they have in mind. After all, it was the collaborators who killed as many Jews as the SS.

This is Europe. All they're in a panic over is how they get someone else to plausibly pull the trigger and who they can blame for it.
