Please tell me we have better contingency plans than this
Makor Rishon reported on Friday that Israel's contingency plans in case the 'Palestinian Authority' disbands itself are to have Mayors and village Mukhtars take the place of the 'Palestinian Authority.' The link is to a picture of the page in Hebrew.Having Mayors and village Mukhtars run the show was tried in the early and mid-'80's and ended with the first intifada. The amount of cooperation one could expect to get from them today is even less than it was 30 years ago. I hope we have some better plans.
