Netanyahu caves again, will transfer tax money to 'Palestinians'
He had Abu Mazen by his junk, but Prime Minister Netanyahu has decided to let him go again. The government has decided to 'resume' (without letting even a paycheck go by) tax transfers to the 'Palestinians.' An official close to the Prime Minister's Office said that the Palestinians have slowed down their unilateral actions, which was a major part of the new consideration.They have? So what was that meeting between Abu Mazen and Khaled Meshaal in Cairo last week? Are we going to transfer tax moneys to Hamas?
Speaking to the committee, Netanyahu warned that an "Islamic wave" is washing over the Arab world. "This is not good for us."'Hasty actions'? How much money was transferred to Hamas before we acted?
Following decades of military rule in the Arab world, "We have an unstable reality ahead of us," he added
Because it is not possible to know how long it will take until the region stabilizes, the prime minister said, "We must behave cautiously. This is not the time for hasty actions."
In post-Gaddafi Libya, he said, "there is a large stockpile of weapons that is leaking out (of the country) and reaching our area," something he said has ramifications on Israel's security needs.And that's a reason to give Abu Mazen more money? So he can give to Hamas and Hamas can buy those weapons?
What could go wrong?

Why not hand over the entire IDF arsenal to Hamas and just be done with it?

If you assume that the Obama posse is on the side of the Muslim Bros, al Shabaab, al Qaeda, Hezbullah, Hamas, etc., then this makes perfect sense. The level of horsetrading, bribery, intimidation, and threats going on behind the scenes right now must be amazing. For example, Hillary still has the daughter of a Muslim Brotherhood leader whispering in her ear as chief of staff; she never did change personnel. So now the "people" (including the U.S; Jews who are moving away from Obama for the upcoming election) are clamoring for Hillary, even though Hillary travels on the same path that Obama does.
Maybe giving the money to the PA is the exchange for the Patriots or the bunkerbuster things you posted about last week. Maybe Obama is ok with Hamas shooting rockets onto Israeli civilians if buying the missing Libyan rockets is what Fatah and Hamas do with the $$, but he also wants Israel to bash Iran with, in case they start shooting off their nukes. Such a horror of a President.
Netanyahu may be a victim of judicial politics. The far-left prosecutor/court system threaten him with some kind of accusation unless he "acts reasonably."
The same happened with Sharon. As soon as he went into a coma and became useless, the legal system came down hard on his son. But not as long as Sharon was still useful.
Am I being excessively cynical? To quote the late, great Lili Tomlin, "No matter how cynical I get, I can't keep up."
BTW, I just heard on a Heritage podcast that the Obama posse "loosened" the regulations that prevent NGO aid money coming from the U.S. from going to al Shabaab. Their topic was the spaghetti tangle in Kenya, Somalia, etc. This supposedly happened last summer. Imagine the worst of these Obama people and then double it. Dead people are no object.
