France files protest after Gaza envoy hit by shrapnel

Well, who the heck told them to send a diplomat to Gaza?

France has filed a formal protest because its envoy in Gaza, and his wife and daughter, were hit by shrapnel from an IDF strike two days ago. The strike took place 200 meters from their home.
France's consul to the Gaza Strip, his wife and 13-year-old daughter were injured during an Israeli air strike on Sunday night, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Bernard Valero said.

Valero told reporters the three were were hit by shrapnel at their residence in Gaza, which is located 200 meters from the site of an Israeli missile attack, he added.

"France condemns the consequences of the raid," he said. "While we are all for Israeli security, France recalls the utmost necessity to avoid civilian harm," Valero said, without specifying the nature of their injuries.

The raid killed one policeman and wounded four others after Palestinian militants from the coastal territory fired a rocket into southern Israel.
The French foreign ministry ought to ask itself why it has an envoy living 200 meters from what even they all but acknowledge is a legitimate military target. Perhaps, if they insist on maintaining an envoy in Gaza, they ought to take that up with the de facto rulers of Gaza, i.e. Hamas.

Israel Radio reports that the envoy's wife miscarried as a result of the missile strike.

But the real issue here, as I stated at the outset, is why France has an envoy in Gaza. The fact that the envoy lives 200 meters from a military target ought to tell them all they need to know. Hamas is a terror organization and terror organizations don't deserve to be treated as legitimate states.

Hmm,..."à la guerre comme à la guerre".English translation: all is fair in love and war.
The Palestinians probably knew all to well about the proximity of the French envoy and exploited the situation.

France: placing human shields near Hamas military (or rocket launching?) sites. On behalf of the Euro holocaust perps. Trying to finish the job. Maybe these French envoys can visit all the people in Israel who have been injured (and survived!) in attacks from the people they are envoying to. It's really disgusting.

A rocket nearly wiped out an Israeli Kindergarten today. It happened to be empty at the time. FYI.
