Cabinet approves Shalit deal
Israel Radio has just reported that after a five-hour meeting, the Israeli government has approved the Shalit deal 26-3.Those voting against were Avigdor Lieberman (Yisrael Beiteinu), Uzi Landau (Yisrael Beiteinu) and Moshe "Boogie" Yaalon (Likud).
I'm surprised more Likud members did not vote against.
The picture is Uzi Landau.

A BAD DEAL FOR A GOOD CAUSE.
AND WHY?
TIME IS RUNNING OUT.
IT WAS NOW OR NEVER.
MB WILL SOON RUN EGYPT.
AND SYRIA.
AND WAR IS COMING SOON TOO.
TURKEY AND IRAN'S FOLKS IN LEBANON WILL SOON INSTIGATE A SERIES OF EVENTS CULINATING IN A HIZBALLAH STRIKE AGAINST TEL AVIV.
THEN AFTER ISRAEL RETAILTES EVERY TURKEY ARAB NATION AND IRAN WILL ATTACK ISRAEL - WITH RUSSIA AND CHINA HELPING.
AMAZIGNLY, IT'S ALMOST EXACTLY JUST AS EZEKIEL SAID.
Now the only question is will Israel be getting back Gilad alive. Let's all pray that he is not only alive but in reasonably good shape.
I pray that a walking man comes home and not a pine box.
Carl - you and I knew this was going to be approved.
Few Israeli politicians were going to say "no" to Shalit's return.
Its a bad deal but Israel wants to close the chapter on Shalit for good.
