I'm surprised there aren't many comments on this fascinating interview.
The al-Jazeera interviewer is informed and clever. He comes off as a western oriented secularist quizzing Danon according to principles of "international law" and customs. He criticizes Danon's positions which are biblically based as not corresponding to modern notions of how things should be done.
The irony is that Muslim countries base their policies on the Koran and that arrangement must never be questioned. Danon might have alluded to this irony which might have been appreciated by al-Jazeera's audience.
Danon did a great job and managed not to lose his temper despite being baited repeatedly.
