Jon Voight tells it like it is
Actor Jon Voight, who is here for the Glenn Beck rallies, had a blunt and correct assessment of the 'Palestinians,' which he shared at a Jerusalem Holocaust event on Monday night. "How have we come to a time when blowing up babies and cutting their throats are acceptable means to a political goal?" Voight asked. "I feel complete contempt for anyone not intelligent enough to see that the media propaganda portraying the Palestinians as victims endangers the state of Israel. We are facing a new Holocaust, and people of all faiths must demand that truth be heard. The Palestinian radicals have only one prayer on their lips: To remove every Jew from Israel."Indeed. We can only hope and pray that this generation is the one that stops all future Holocausts in their tracks.
Voight, the father of actress Angelina Jolie, received a standing ovation for saying that "We will not bend to terrorism in any way, shape, or form for the sake of peace."
The event, which was carried on Beck's new television network, featured a film about Holocaust survivor Rudy Wolf's visit to his childhood home in Germany. Speakers at the event noted the significance of holding a Holocaust-themed evening at the former Jerusalem train station after world armies did not bomb the tracks to Auschwitz in World War II.
"If you stare evil in the eye, it's a coward," Beck told the crowd of American Christians who came to Israel for the series of events he organized. "If you confront your biggest fear, it goes away. It's not enough to remember the Holocaust, because it has happened time and time again. This will be the generation that stops it in its tracks and says 'never again, we mean it.'"

Carl, your headline is way to nice. Even Jon Voight is soooooo off the mark. They do not pray for Jews to be removed from Israel... they pray for Jews to be dead, in Israel and everywhere else. Israel just provides a convenient opportunity for them to kill one big bunch of Jews all at once, so they don't have as big a job to do searching out and killing the rest of the Jews around the world. Jon Voight needs to do more reading, websurfing, and he needs a class from David Horowitz...

To further this point, Aussie Dave has a post with a "Q&A" session on Australia's ABC. Toward the end of the segment on Israel, they were talking about how bad bad Israel killed 1000 civilians in Lebanon during Leb II. While the point that the neighbors started the conflict by kidnapping "2" IDF soldiers (I thought it was 3?) NO ONE mentioned that Hizbullah then spent the next month (including before Israel sent the jet to try to stop them) chuck hundreds of rockets onto northern Israeli civilian urban centers, burning up Israel's forests, killing Israelis, Jews and Arabs, etc. alike... All Daniel Pipes says is that "it may not be the perfect thing I would have wanted Israel to do..." He said NOTHING about the rockets! How can this be? Has he been intimidated? Or has he heard the moaning so much that he can't bring himself to face the contempt by talking about the HUNDREDS OF ROCKETS FIRED FROM RESIDENTIAL AREAS IN LEBANON!!! This whole thing is so disheartening.

So, I even said it wrong. I see the figure in one of your later posts... Daniel Pipes, during Leb II, it was 4 THOUSAND rockets than were fired onto Israeli civilian areas, not "hundreds" as I said, or ZERO as you omitted in discussions in Australia. You faulted Israel for sending the jets (I was there outside Rehovot and heard them roaring away and roaring back for a landing... the sound of freedom... a lullaby to those of us who grew up with those jets!). But did not even make a peep that the jets were not only for the "2" soldiers kidnapped over the Leb border, but were to try to stop the rocket barrage of 4,000!
