How long Israelis have to take cover

In case you've forgotten, here's how long Israelis have to take cover from rocket fire. For those who don't read Hebrew, it's color coded and all the double digit numbers are seconds, while the single digit numbers are minutes.

A great way to live, no? How long do you think San Diego would live like this?

Its a joke. The IDF bureaucrats who came up with those numbers never tested them in real world conditions.

But don't you have the feeling they won't put their own families to that test?

What could go wrong indeed

Do they have all this info on charts in English? I know someone who was baracaded in their house in the north in summer '06. An aliya ulpan graduate. Had a radio, but couldn't understand the very fast talking announcer, so didn't know what was happening. Did have internet, but of course it was slow to be updated during the rocket attacks.

Have they started up an English channel for emergency verbiage?
