CNN finds Lockerbie bomber 'comatose and near death'

CNN reports that it has found Lockerbie bomber Abdelbasset Megrahi in Tripoli, Libya, but that the mass murderer's family claims that he is 'comatose and near death.'

Let's go to the videotape.

Arutz Sheva adds:
The cancer-stricken former Libyan intelligence officer may be the last man alive who knows precisely who in the Libya government authorized the 1989 bombing which killed 270 people, CNN noted.
I'd bet on Muammar Gadhafi himself.

They found a good Oxygen supplier to keep his oxygen tank full, without any telephone lines.

Today people use Oxygen concentrators and not oxygen tanks, they put the tank for show and used full mask to justify the inability to talk.

What a nice show for CNN

I like this comment by his neighbour "When he came back from Europe he looked ill. But recently he looked fit and neat. I saw him just before the revolution. He didn't look ill at all. He was sitting in a chair on his balcony. He looked 100 percent."

I bet you he is not that ill

That info BernardZ quoted doesn't surprise me a bit. However, I am just a bit, not a lot, surprised that the UK Govt would so immorally prostitute themselves in setting that creature free as part of a deal for Libyan oil contracts.

And I have to agree with Carl, I can't imagine the Libyan regime perpetrating the PanAm 103 bombing except on the orders of Gaddafi himself. From all the public info I've read, that was very much a top-down dictatorship, no powerful factions with sometimes differing agendas as with, for example, the Iranian Mullah dictatorship.
