Let the deportations begin!
Depending on which report you believe, three or five flytilla 'activists' are already in the process of being deported from Israel on the grounds that they are already forbidden from entering the country due to previous offenses (Israel Radio added that last tidbit). All of those deported thus far were from France or Belgium.
Israel Radio reported (7:00 pm) that some of the 'activists' were allowed to stay in Israel but are under police surveillance.
Labels: Ben Gurion Airport, Gaza plenty, Palestinian fly-in

Duh. Those allowed to stay probably posted a bond and gave a promise to abide by Israel's laws. If they want to spend their money as tourists, I see no reason why Israel should deprive itself of their company.
Heh
destroy their passports and release them into gaza
From the report; '... are already in the process of being deported from Israel on the grounds that they are already forbidden from entering the country..." ----- I thought Israel checked incoming manifests before the people left to come to Israel. If so, how were they allowed to fly into Israel in the first place?
