Making Debbie Wasserman Schultz look worse
In an earlier post, I reported that Democratic National Committee Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz had asked Prime Minister Netanyahu to demand a pledge from the Republican Jewish Coalition not to make Israel a campaign issue. Caroline Glick has a more uncomplimentary version of the story, which also may explain how it became public.This point was also brought home with Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s interesting request to Republicans during their joint meeting with Netanyahu. In front of the Israeli leader, Wasserman Schultz asked her Republican counterparts not to use support for Israel as a campaign issue. Her request makes clear that following Netanyahu’s brilliant triumph in Washington, Democrats realize that the president’s poor treatment of Israel is an issue that will harm them politically if the Republicans decide to make it an issue in next year’s elections.It sounds like the Democrats have a lot to fear next November.
Heh.

The Dems may win by default. Republicans don't have a candidate.
In addition to Dopey Debbie's boorish request in the presence of Netanyahu, she came under fire for trying to force-feed US-made autos on Americans, when she herself owns 2 Japanese-made cars As the always astute Rush Limbaugh quipped, she likely uses a good grade of US-made mayonnaise in her hair.
The report I read is that Bibi said to her and the GOP reps, reps "Maybe I should leave you guys alone..."
:-)
btw Walter Russel Mead (who from his columns thinks Bibi should be more accommodating to the Palis) lays into President O for being "the least competent manager of America's Middle East diplomatic portfolio in a long time"

His take on the Bibi vs. Obama smackdown:
"Netanyahu beat Obama like a red-headed stepchild; he played him like a fiddle; he pounded him like a big brass drum. The Prime Minister of Israel danced rings around his arrogant, professorial opponent. It was like watching the Harlem Globetrotters go up against the junior squad from Miss Porter’s School; like watching Harvard play Texas A&M, like watching Bambi meet Godzilla — or Bill Clinton run against Bob Dole."
assimilated Jews like Frau Shultz are more interested in abortion than Israe;
