What could he say that would surprise them?

Prime Minister Netanyahu is thus far resisting efforts to force him to preview for the Knesset his speech to be given to a joint session of Congress in late May. Netanyahu wants to surprise the World with the latter speech. At this point, the only thing he could say that would surprise the World would be that we're going to expel the 'Palestinians' from Israel and set up a Jewish state from the River to the Sea. If only....

Its far more likely he will offer more unilateral concessions to the Palestinians... who will happily pocket them but who won't return to the negotiating table and will not make peace with Israel.

Netanyahu can offer them the moon in Congress. But there won't be peace... any time soon.

Bibi keeps playing rope-a-dope with Obama as the strategic indicators turn south. If he isn't prepared to lay out a plan to honestly confront the front-line confrontation hostiles--whether Turkey or iran or Lebanon or Syria or Fatahland or Hamastan--then what is the point?
