Video: Sarah Palin talks about Libya, Israel and healthcare

Sarah Palin was on Greta van Sustern's On the Record on Fox News on Wednesday night, and given my direct interest in two of the three topics, I wanted to share the segment with you.

Let's go to the videotape.

I like that: Be in it to win it, but if we're in doubt get out.

Heh.

UPDATE 11:54 AM

I finally got to finish watching this video. It's about 9 minutes of Libya and 6 of Israel - they never got to health care.

Two further comments:

1. I don't understand why the media thinks they can get away with treating Palin as an intellectual lightweight. I thought her grasp of the issues was excellent.

2. I thought she was spot-on regarding both Libya and Israel. I was impressed with how articulate an advocate for us she is.

Gov. Palin's biggest problem is her voice. She needs training. Because of her accent and the cadence of her speech, she doesn't present with authority. Her voice is too high. And her look has become a cliche.

If only . . .

Just as with W, Sarah is being painted as an idiot. She's no idiot. And she is genuine.

She's doing better hasbarah for Israel than Bibi.

She is far brighter than her enemies suggest she is. She gives most liberals apoplectic fits, as she is engaging, smart, much better looking than standard republicans.

She's got a Truman-esque quality to her. And this has her enemies literally frothing at the mouth. They engage in some of the most vile character and personal assassination I have ever seen. Many people still attribute Tina Fey's fake soundbite to Ms. Palin. Ms. Fey, while quite humorous, is not an equal opportunity political basher. Nor are most of the media, who tried to prove how much smarter they were than her. And all they managed to prove is how far in the tank they were for Obama.

So hows that hopey changy workin out fer ya?

Most of the country now realizes what a terrible aweful mistake we made electing the current occupant of the white house. Birthplace and citizenship issues aside, he really has no business in charge of a country, an economy, a foreign policy, or an armed force.

We know this now. Ms. Palin is a very different story. Very different. She isn't anything even approaching a clueless twit as some in the media portrayed her. That honor goes to their chosen one.

@ CJ Pol Rep: thank goodness Sarah Palin does not sound like someone going through a sex change, as Hillary Clinton does. I'm a Limey and I like the way she speaks and looks. I also think she is the opposite of idiot. But isn't that the way the islamo-lefty media try to destroy people, by smearing them constantly?

Sarah is the friend of Israel America's left-wing politicized liberal establishment is too busy being the barking dogs of Obamism to bother with. The UJA-Federation of New York invests $1,000,000 in Soros front Jewish Funds for Justice's community organizing, Glenn Beck obsessing, "teabagger" slamming sideshows. The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington supports anti-Zionist agitprop Theater J. As America's wealth-sated elites go off the rails, friends like Palin are all the more precious.
