Rubio for President?
Rush Limbaugh endorsed Marco Rubio for President of the United States on Tuesday.Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Hot Air).
Barack Obama seems quite beatable, but none of the Republican candidates have excited anyone. That sounds like 2008 all over again. The only candidate who excited anyone in 2008 was Sarah Palin, and she had her faults as a candidate.
The positive side of a Rubio candidacy is that no one should be tired of him yet. He's fresh and new and exciting. He doesn't seem likely to say that he has foreign policy experience because he can look out his window at Cuba or tell people that Obama grew up in Kenya.
The negative side is that he is as inexperienced now as Obama was in 2008. Of course, he's not exactly the same as Obama - he was speaker of the Florida House and not just a legislator and a community organizer. But two years in the Senate is not enough experience to become President of the United States. Unless there is no choice.
Ultimately, I would love to see Rubio run. I'm afraid 2012 is too soon.

NO, Palin for President. She's the only one I trust given the MAGNITUDE of this election cycle.
