Real interviews at the 2011 J Street conference

In an earlier post, I talked about some of the people who attended the J Street conference and how its rank and file are more pro-'Palestinian' than 'pro-Israel.' Here are some interviews with those rank and file.

Let's go to the videotape.

'Pro-Israel, pro-peace' anyone?

I am SO thankful for the J-Sreet Jews and their supporters..

We all OWE them a hugh thank you.

After all without them, all the rest of us Zionist/Israel loving Jews that believe in the racists idea that Jews should be allowed to buy land anywhere in the "west bank" (to use the modern day term) and Jerusalem (to use a 3000 year old term) as any other citizen of the world would be 1st in line for our throats to be slit.

Thank you J-street Jews for being the closest target for the Jihadists to rape, murder and loot, as they will in time, you are our cannon foder,

So all you Israel/ZIonist haitng Jews? Make sure you follow the directions to the rail cars to the new and improved"summer camp"...

As PT Barnum once said...

This was to the egress....

and

you can fool most of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time and some of the people none of the time...

J street people? Useful idiots that have no real idea about reality...

For those of us that for YEARS have understood the real mind set of Islamists/Jihad/Arabism we are not shocked when the rape, murder, stab and shoot us...

The J-Streeters?

Still dont get the idea that the BEARS do BITE.

And bite they shall...

ANd thanks for being there 1st so when your jihadist buddy gets one of his "days of rage" moods, it's your neck he will slice, shoot, implode or rip out...

Does it never occur to these people that the group that needs to be forced to negotiate in their own interests is the palestinians?

The 2nd kapo interviewed would appear to be Gershon Baskin, whom the JPost (there's that "J" again!) gives valuable column space to.

Gershon Baskin: This is nothing more than manipulative "journalism" taking out pieces of an interveiw to create an image of extremism. I said yes to a Palestinian unilateral declaration of independence if there are no negotiations.... what was excluded is that I said that there would have to be an Israeli-Palestinian agreement on borders, Jerusalem, refugees, etc. I was asked about BDS which I said I opposed (not included here) but added that I support boycotting settlements and settlement products and that this is the proper Zionist position because the settlement enterprise is leading to the national suicide of the Zionist movement and the state of Israel

all the persons appearing should have been identified.

Someone took videos of speakers and without id'ing anyone by name strung together quotes out of context. That's a nice trick I'd like to see done at the next AIPAC event. Shouldn't be hard to string together a bunch of settler supporting, pro-occupation, Jihad-obsessed folks to make AIPAC look like a bunch of racist fools.

In addition to Gershon Baskin's apt comments about selective journalism, it's especially important to note that picking out a select few conference attendees as representative of the entire conference (and the entire organization) is a ridiculously flawed method. I was at the conference as well, and I can affirmatively say that I met dozens of attendees who are moderate, pro-Israel, concerned American Jews, who are simply frustrated with the lack of progress towards peace that we have seen in the last several years. We are frustrated with Israeli policy, but we still love Israel. We are unhappy with the way that Israel's policies are causing students and other young Jews to disengage from Israel, and we are glad that the advent of J Street means that they have another option. J Street and its supporters recognize that criticism of Israel doesn't equal hatred of Israel, and that achieving peace through a two-state solution doesn't need to be a zero-sum game.
