I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). A secular Egyptian blogger-protestor makes two key claims: a) the movement was not organized by Muslm Brotherhood (acknowledged by most, issue is day after) and is very secular b) Egyptian state media are broadcasting interviews with so-called protestors who "admit" they were "financed by Jews"
So Mubarak's plan is to continue to promise stability past present future on a foundation of cynically exploited anti-Semitism?
