US not even negotiating wording over 'Palestinian' resolution
The New York Times shows a sign that the Obama administration will veto the 'Palestinian'-sponsored Security Council resolution condemning Israeli 'settlement' construction. The United States has not engaged in talks even on the wording of the new resolution, signaling that a veto looms. “We continue to believe strongly that New York is not the place to resolve the longstanding conflict and outstanding issues between the Israelis and the Palestinians,” Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said last week.Hmmm.

Abu Mazen and company may have crossed a line with Obama and company by trying to take the Arab-Israeli conflict out of Obama's and Hillary's hands after refusing to meet with Israel since Obama took office.
Obama made the mistake of bringing the so-called settlements into the forefront in 2009 but he may not appreciate seeing Abu Mazen use this mistake against America's position in the so-called peace process.
I wonder if Abu Mazen still thinks it's easy to be a "Palestinian" in the Obama administration. Heh.
Abbas's Waiting Game
I'll believe it when Susan Rice actually does kill it.
I'm not holding my breath waiting for a US veto to happen.
The solution is not in 2 states in one. The solution is Status Quo and Israel to build its settlements. At the same time Israel must focus on building up Jordan's economy - BOTs on major infrastructure projects, making Jordan water independent with the construction of multiple de-salinization plants, and modernizing Jordan's ports to the Red Sea.
Build Jordan and its economy and you will create a vacuum for Palestinians. The fact is the 85% palestinian population is already in Jordan. With current unrest from Tunisia, Sudan, Egypt and Lebanon, Jordan's king is looking for long term solutions. They know Israel is that solution.
