Two Arabs arrested for plotting missile attack on Teddy Stadium were British Consulate employees
On Sunday, I reported that five (a number I got from Israel Radio) Jerusalem Arabs had been arrested and charged with plotting a missile attack on Teddy Stadium, Jerusalem's main soccer stadium. As a couple of people have already noted in the comments, it now turns out that the two main suspects were also employees of the British Consulate in Jerusalem.
Britain's Foreign Office has confirmed the arrests and says the UK is urgently seeking confirmation of the charges. So I guess that means they can keep their jobs?
"We have been told by the Israeli authorities that the investigation into our two employees is unrelated to the work they do at the consulate," the spokesman said.
British sources in Israel say the pair are not thought to be senior members of staff. All staff at British embassies and consulates abroad are meant to undergo strict security screening.
By the way, 'strict security screening'? Like at Heathrow?
What could go wrong?

Isn't this exactly like the UNIFIL teachers and other employees moonlighting?
