Racists?
I would say that this is a fair description of our current predicament. There was a time when the "land for peace" formula made some sense. There was a time when the peace camp promised that its solutions would actually bring peace. I don't know if you've noticed, but after Lebanon and Gaza, no one is making such promises to the people of Israel - not the human rights groups, not the Israeli government, not the Palestinian Authority and not the American president. A nation already at the limit of its tolerance for violence is being asked to double down on a policy which no one can guarantee will bring peace, and may in fact instigate a new round of bloodshed. It's either that or invite the very people who would shoot rockets at your home and riddle your family with bullets into having a say over how your country should be run. Lastly, should you choose to do neither, you're an anti-democratic racist. Enjoy.What could go wrong?

Caroline Glick just wrote about the Israeli Left being for losers.
Even the Israeli Left is no longer promising that surrender will bring about peace. They're morally and intellectually bankrupt. As she points out, what they're advocating is a pipe dream. The two state solution its advocated has no chance of being realized in our lifetime.

In Tzfat our rabbi is being accused of racism because of the letter he wrote forbidding Jews to sell / rent flats to Arab students. Now, whenever I leave the town people outside ask, "You're a liberal South African, what's it like to live in such a racist town?"
And I have to tell them it is not a racist town, and then I explain that what the rabbi did was not an event that happened in isolation.
Outsiders wont know about arab students flying palestinian flags from the ruined mosque in the town centre, they won't know about arab students being funded by hamas either...
Why? Because the lamestream media has an agenda, proven by wikileaks, to destroy Israel by labeling it a racist,apartheid state.
