Abu Bluff the risk taker backs Mubarak
While Israel has been extremely cautious not to appear to be taking sides in the current goings-on in Egypt, 'moderate' 'Palestinian' President President Mahmoud Abbas contacted his Egyptian counterpart Hosni Mubarak on Saturday, state media said.If Mubarak is ousted, Abu Mazen's support for him could come back to bite him. While the Dayton forces have been able to keep Hamas in check in Judea and Samaria, if a mass uprising against Abu Mazen's rule were to occur, they might find that more challenging to put down. And Abu Mazen has been ruling for more than two years since he was supposed to hold elections.
“President Abbas affirmed the Palestinian leadership's support for Egyptian security and stability,” Abbas was quoted as saying.
Hmmm.

Abu Bluff is right. Completely. Hamas is reported by reputable intel sources like Statfor appear to be working with the Muslim Brotherhood manning the Gaza/Egyptian crossing and making forays into the Sinai. Egyptian guards at the Gaza crossing have vanished.
Was Mubarak a cold fish dictator? or was he the only sliver of hope keeping the foot on the neck of the Muslim Brotherhood? One word applies here. Shah.
