Ties with Turkey on the mend?
Prime Minister Netanyahu is declining comment on whether we will have a sulha with Turkey, but representatives of the two sides have met for the second time in the last week, and Israel Radio reported during the night that the two sides are looking for language that will satisfy the two sides. All of that seems to validate a tweet that was sent to me on Tuesday night by Jahbalon (one of my Twitter followers), who claims that Israel will express regret (but not apologize) for the Mavi Marmara incident, and will pay some compensation to the families of the Turkish 'victims.'
I think that's absurd. Why should we compensate people who committed an unprovoked act of war against our troops?

Jews know to be good dhimmis.
Will the Turks take a faux apology? That's any one's guess.
And what will happen to the Marines who have had the rug pulled out from under them by their own government?
Let's hope they are just rumors.
Talk about absurd!
There needs to be some apologizing going on, but it has to come from the Turks.
Self-respect.......will we ever see it demonstrated by an Israeli leader again?
