Overnight music video
Mrs. Carl and I went to a vort (engagement party) tonight for the second daughter of old friends who just married off their first daughter a few months ago. Hoping for joyous occasions, God willing, by us and by all of you. Here's a wedding medley sung by Ohad Moskowitz accompanied by the Gershon Freishtat Orchestra (Gershon's father and I go back nearly 40 years). This will give you some idea what an Orthodox Jewish wedding is like for those of you who have never been to one.
Let's go to the videotape.
Labels: Gershon Freishtat Orchestra, Ohad Moskowitz, overnight music video, wedding medley

Do you and Mrs. Carl still celebrate Thanksgiving with turkey? (The meat, not the country:) Actually, I've heard that some Israelis who have lived in the U.S. for their work have taken Thanksgiving home to Israel with them and still make a turkey... it is a good holiday...
Either way, Happy Thanksgiving to you both and yours!
His father was a musician and NCSY advisor back in my day . . .
