What the....?With no end to the Palestinian negotiation deadlock in sight and signals from the Palestinians of their intentions to turn to international organizations and seek recognition as a Palestinian state, senior government sources are holding closed door discussions over the possibility that Israel will need to make one-sided concessions in negotiations with the Palestinians.No. If there is no partner, we live with the status quo. The status quo is good. Olmert's plan went down the tubes the day Gilad Shalit was kidnapped and the tubes were sealed the day the Second Lebanon War started.
"It is possible that Abbas has no interest in negotiations", the sources told Ynet. "If there is no partner, we must think of alternatives". One sided concessions could include former Prime Minster Ehud Olmert's 'convergence' plan which would include a one-sided withdrawal from large areas of Judea and Samaria and convergence into settlement blocs.

Ack! Why do they think just because the Arabs drag their feet and refuse to talk that we just give up? How about saying: 'Good, we're at a stand still and we'll stay that way as long as you like!'
Stupid Jews who want to commit national suicide. Slap some cement weights on them and toss them into the Mediterranean before G-d forbid, they take the country down with them!

It goes to show Israel has no red lines - the Jews don't consider anything sacred to them and when peace is your only goal, your highest goal - nothing else matters and the means justify the end.
So Abu Bluff, on reading this headline has every reason to remain intransigent and concede nothing. Because in the end, the Jews, who worship the peace idol, will give the Palestinians what they want anyway, without their ever having to make a concession.
The Jews in short, are really negotiating with themselves and it will lead them to no good end.

If we have no peace partner we have no need to tolerate Arab occupation of Jewish lands.
