Carl, if there ever a time when I wish that I didn't see something...or send it to you? I cannot get this out of my mind. So many 'if onlys'...the gun being taken away, the fences taken down...and IMHO, I think that Bibi should have gone right back to the airport and gone home. Hussein has Jewish blood on his hands.
BTW, I could not watch the whole video. And now, thinking of the orphaned children and the pregnant mother zt'l?
Daniel Greenfield AKA Sultan Knish has a powerful commentary on Tuesday's events. Its full of good stuff but too long to quote in full. Nevertheless, this I think gets to the gist of what is really going on:
"Terrorism does not exist because there is no peace process. Terrorism exists because there IS a peace process, or a possibility of one. Hamas murdered five Jews because it wanted to make a point to all the parties that it could not be ignored. At other times it is Fatah that has done the same thing. Israel's willingness to negotiate stimulates terrorism like nothing else, because it creates a tangible reward. Without the peace process, terrorism would fade away on its own. As it had become a fading problem, before Clinton and Rabin plucked Arafat out of obscurity and gave him a country to play with. Paradoxically as long as the peace process holds out the possibility of victory for the terrorists, there can be and will be no peace."
No truer words have ever been said. As long as Israel surrenders the Jewish homeland for Arab words not worth the paper they are printed on, the Jews will never know a minute of peace. Knish has lots more to say.
I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. Four of our children are married! Before I started blogging I was a heavy contributor on a number of email lists and ran an email list called the Matzav from 2000-2004. You can contact me at: IsraelMatzav at gmail dot com

They are happy when Jews are murdered.
Just like the Nazis expressed sadistic glee when they killed Jews!
There will be no peace with them in our lifetime.
