Only in Israel: Mossad to organize Netanyahu trip to Greece because of Foreign Ministry strike

Thirty years ago, the joke in Israel was that half the country was on strike while the other half stood around watching. In fact, during a trip here in 1979, there was a grounds crew strike at Ben Gurion Airport, and when we saw the number of ground workers in the papers, my father claimed that there were more ground workers at Ben Gurion at that time than United Airlines (then the US's largest) had across the United States.

Some things haven't changed too much in the last thirty years.
The Prime Minister's Office has asked the Mossad intelligence agency to organized Binyamin Netanyahu's trip to Greece next week because of the strike by Foreign Ministry workers who usually handle such matters.

Israeli diplomats are demanding equity in pay and working conditions with members of the security and intelligence communities.
Of course.
