Obama to eschew a second term?

There have been a lot of pundits lately claiming that President Obama will not run for a second term. Here's Fox News' Neil Cavuto making his case.

I don't know about the rest of you, but to me this sounds plausible and frankly I fear it more than any other scenario. Here's why.

Cavuto lists Obama's 'accomplishments' on the domestic front. But if he were to declare in - say - January 2011 that he's not going to run for re-election, he would have two years to do whatever he wants short of an impeachable offense to bring about his foreign policy dream: A 'Palestinian state.' And even if the Republicans retake both Houses of Congress, there is precious little they can do to stop a President in the foreign policy sphere.

What could go wrong?
