Lebanese army command gave order to fire on Tuesday

The Lebanese army command gave the order to fire on two senior IDF officers on our border with Lebanon according to the Now Lebanon web site.
On Thursday evening, al-Manar television quoted an unnamed Lebanese army source involved in Wednesday night’s meeting between UNIFIL and the Israel and Lebanese armies as saying that the order to open fire in Tuesday’s border skirmish had “come directly from the [army] command.”

Two Lebanese soldiers, a journalist and a senior Israeli officer died in Tuesday’s fighting. Israel said the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) opened fire on its troops as they were cutting down trees on the Israeli side of the border, it was reported.
Not too surprising.

I think Israel is going to be on guard in the future and the next time Israel should do more than strike a few APCs in a single village. Its time to reverse second dhimmi's Barak's ill-fated abandonment of south Lebanon a decade ago and annex it to Israel forever.
