Video: Netanyahu - Obama 'press availability'

Here's video of the Netanyahu - Obama 'press availability' on Tuesday at the White House.

You can find a summary here. Let's go to the videotape (a little more than 22 minutes) (Hat Tip: Lance K).

By the way, did anyone hear an answer to the 'settlement freeze' question? It was pretty direct....

At the end of the video, Obama actually refers to Abbas to Abu Mazen. Don't you think that's brazen?

Gag me. The entire first part, even when Obama turns his face to Netanyahu, he doen't make eye contact. He looks down at Netanyahu's knee.

Secondly, Obama sounds like he woke up this morning to a brand new day. He sounds unsure... no mention of Israel's track record of things like taking Israelis out of the Sinai, Lebanon, and Gaza, as the "international community" wanted, resulting in the establishment of Judenrein areas. Israel did it for peace and gets ZERO credit from Obama, including NO MENTION by Obama of the rockets launched IN THE LAST WEEK against Israel.

Everybody who didn't vote last time in the U.S. or voted for Obama because you thought all politicians are the same need to get back out there this November. Even if the perfect candidate isn't there, there's time to try to get a better candidate. In the meantime, vote for the least bad because when you sit out or try to send a message, this is what you get. The Obama administrations disasters need to be stopped at the ballot box.

BTW if I were you guys in Israel, I would change the wording related to "settlements" to "affordable housing" and "suburban apartment complexes encompassing 1% of West Bank land.

Near the end, Obama is trying to weasel out of his trashing of Israel since he became President. I hope AIPAC (and the Israeli consulates) will reassess their falling into the pool after Obama's campaign speech in '08.
