Video: Marco Rubio speaks about Israel
Republican Senate candidate Marco Rubio (Fla) spoke to the Florida chapter of the Republican Jewish Coalition on Thursday and much of the speech was about Israel. Here's Part 1 of the speech.Let's go to the videotape.

There is apparently a Part 2 of this speech coming, but at this writing, it's not up yet. Jennifer Rubin has highlights of the entire speech here and there's a transcript here. I love Jennifer's last paragraph:
This is what we should demand and expect of every candidate and official who styles himself as “pro-Israel.” And it is an embarrassment that the finest explication of these issues and statement of determination does not come from Jewish leaders, who still scurry here and there trying to reconcile two irreconcilable realities (i.e., Obama’s stance toward Israel and defense of the Jewish state).Most 'American Jewish leaders' would be afraid of the reaction of the adherents of Liberalism to a speech like that. They'd be embarrassed (and yes, this is partly the fault of Israeli governments from 1993-2009 who insisted that the most important thing the government of Israel could do was to create a terror state called 'Palestine').
When a new occupant enters the White House, he or she would do well to pull out Rubio’s speech and use it as the foundation for America’s Israel policy.May it happen speedily and in our times. When I see the second part of this speech, I will post it as a separate post.
