Join the true freedom flotilla to free Gilad Shalit

There's a real freedom flotilla at Noon on Thursday in New York. It will call for freedom for kidnapped IDF corporal Gilad Shalit.
IDF Corporal Gilad Shalit was seized by Hamas in a cross-border raid on June 25, 2006. For four years, Hamas has denied the International Committee of the Red Cross access to Shalit, whom they hold in violation of international law and custom, and rejected all efforts to secure Gilad’s return to his family in Israel.

The True Freedom Flotilla marks the fourth anniversary of Gilad’s kidnapping. Boats will move north on the East River at 12:00 noon, Thursday, June 24th from Houston Street and West Side Highway, sailing past the Statue of Liberty toward the United Nations. The flotilla can be viewed from the East River Esplanade. Entrance to the Esplanade is on the east side of First Avenue at 34th, 35th or 37th Streets. Join us to raise awareness that Gilad Shalit remains in captivity and to call for his release. The Flotilla is organized by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
That's something for those of you in New York to do on your lunch break today.
