Abu Bluff: 'No one can tolerate expelling people from their homes... it's unimaginable'

Yes, Abu Bluff really said what I attributed to him in the title of this post.
“No one can tolerate the expulsion of people from their homes ...,” Abbas told reporters after meeting in Ramallah with Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann. “This is something unimaginable.”
But of course, he has no problem with expelling Jews from their homes in Judea and Samaria. That's not 'unimaginable.' Abu Bluff wasn't talking about Jews. He was talking about Israel's decision to expel three Hamas legislators and a former Hamas minister from their homes in Jerusalem and to revoke their Israeli identification cards that allow them to travel freely throughout Israel.
Israel’s decision to revoke the permanent residency status of four Hamas representatives from east Jerusalem is extremely dangerous and complicates efforts to achieve peace, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas cautioned on Thursday.

Three Hamas legislators and a former minister from the Islamist movement have been stripped of their Israeli-issued ID cards and ordered to leave Jerusalem.

The decision to confiscate their ID cards and deport them from the city was taken by the Interior Ministry because of their affiliation with a terror organization. Last week the High Court of Justice upheld the decision.

“No one can tolerate the expulsion of people from their homes or the revocation of their [Jerusalem] ID cards,” Abbas told reporters after meeting in Ramallah with Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann. “This is something unimaginable.”

Abbas condemned the Israeli decision as a major obstacle to peace.

On Wednesday night, Abbas met in his office with three of the Hamas representatives slated for deportation from Jerusalem: legislators Ahmed Attoun and Mohammed Totah and former [Hamas] Minister for Jerusalem Affairs, Khaled Abu Arafeh. The fourth Hamas representative who has also been ordered to leave Jerusalem is Mohammed Abu Tir, who was recently released from an Israeli prison.

The meeting between Abbas and the Hamas representatives was the first of its kind in many months. Abbas has rarely met with Hamas members since the movement seized full control of the Gaza Strip three years ago.
In addition to the hypocrisy of his position that it's okay to expel Jews from their homes - but not 'Palestinians' - which side do you think Abu Bluff will choose if he is forced to choose between Israel and Hamas?

What could go wrong?

OT Has the IDF thought of inviting Michael Yon to embed with one of their units? He's blustery, but I've followed him for years because he advocates for the troops. He left (was evicted from?) a recent embed in Afghanistan and miraculously showed up in Thailand at the exact time needed to do street level reporting on the protests and aftermath. He's a very interesting person. I remember him going to Sderot one time and talking about the rockets being "rain". It could be a risk because he will point out higher up screw ups that affect the troops... But he also shows the trees and the combined forest in a very unique way.

Michael Yon's website is a good archive of his posts:

www.michaelyon-online.com

but "like"ing his fanpage on facebook is genius because he puts notes up there all day long and they show up on your news feed.

When it comes to talking about expelling half a million Jews from their homes (which is what the "peacemakers" describe as if it's the most moral thing that Israel could possibly do) - they tend to express it in NON-human terms.

To them, it's all about moving or dismantling "settlements" as if Israel would only be moving furniture or goods in a warehouse.

If they do express it in human terms, they can't do it without dehumanizing the "settlers" as if the "settlers" (including the smallest infants) are morally equivalent to "Palestinian" suicide bombers (which is just another anti-Jew blood libel).

They use lies to try to justify driving 500,000 mostly women and children from their homes while calling the process of driving *people* from their homes as unacceptable and unimaginable.

Jews don't qualify as *people* in their eyes.

Abu Bluff is FOR "human rights" - that is for his own people. Another example of the Arab egocentrism we've come to know so well and love - and while he was remonstrating for the dignity and freedom of three Hamasniks, he couldn't find the time to make a plea for the release of Gilad Shalit from Hamas' captivity.

Israel needs a "friend" like Abu Bluff like it needs an enemy. Don't look for peace to happen in our own lifetime.
