Fatah affiliate takes 'credit' for Friday terror attack

The Fatah-affiliated al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades have taken credit for a Friday shooting attack near Ofra in which two Israelis were lucky to get off with light wounds.
According to the Maan report, the group that is part of Fatah's military wing said in a statement that the attack was in response to the killing of a Palestinian teenager near Ramallah on Thursday, for which Palestinians have blamed Israeli settlers.

The group also said the attack also amounted to a rejection of the start if indirect peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

The Civil Administration, the Israeli government body that deals with all non-military operations in the West Bank, relayed a message to senior Palestinian officials indicating that Israel takes shooting seriously.

The Civil Administration and the IDF have also asked the Palestinians to work to restore calm in the area.

Meanwhile, not far from the site of the shooting, Palestinian sources said settlers opened fire and killed a Palestinian teenager who was throwing rocks at Israeli cars near the West Bank city of Ramallah late Thursday.
'Palestinian sources said' but have absolutely no proof. On the other hand, an affiliate of our supposed 'peace partner,' Abu Bluff, has taken 'credit' for a terror attack. What Israel ought to do is to shut down the 'proximity talks' until Abu Bluff takes measures to find the terrorists and gain control of his own territory. After all, that was the first stage of the 'road map.'

But don't expect that to happen. We have to keep President Obumbler happy.

P.S. Throwing rocks at cars is endangering lives and deserves a response with deadly force. So even if an Israeli killed a 'Palestinian' who was throwing rocks at cars, that doesn't excuse or justify a terror attack.

President Obama released a statement stating that the "United States is profoundly insulted that the Palestinian Authority permits acts of violence to be perpetrated by affiliates during the proximity talks" and the State Department reminded reporters that "the United States will publicly identify those parties whose actions and provocations endanger negotiations". Meanwhile....oh, never mind. The statements actually referred to the opening of a Jewish grocery store whose garage had at one time stored the Mufti of Jerusalem's prized Mercedes Benz (a personal gift from Herman Goering), and the use of water cannon against incensed Palestinian rioters.

Never mind.

Israel will do nothing to get President Obumbler enraged again. If Jews have to die to ensure it, that's the price Israel is resigned to pay.

What could go wrong indeed
