Stupid Jews: Israel blows chance to get something about Shalit

Early Sunday morning, Israel allowed the three-year old daughter of Hamas Interior Minister Fathi Hamad to be brought into Israel from the Gaza Strip together with her mother. The girl was the subject of surgery gone wrong in Gaza last week, and was flown to Amman by helicopter from Barzilay Hospital in Ashkelon after her condition was stabilized at Barzilay. In return, Israel got nothing and the 'Palestinians' and Jordan have not reported to their people that she was even at Barzilay!

Meanwhile, kidnapped IDF corporal Gilad Shalit has been held incommunicado for nearly four years by Hamas without so much as a Red Cross visit.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak and IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, with the knowledge of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, immediately agreed to Jordan’s King Abdullah’s request to Israel to allow the transfer of the daughter of Elham Fathi Hammad, Interior Minister of the de facto Hamas government. Arab media, including the English-language Jordan Times, reported that the girl was transferred to Jordan but omitted that Israeli doctors at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon treated the child for several hours in life-saving measures after the army arranged for her transfer through the Erez Crossing.

A Jordanian helicopter, escorted by an Israeli jet, then ferried the girl and her mother from the Israeli hospital to Amman.

The girl’s father, Fathi Hammad, publicly thanked Jordan and King Abdullah for their efforts. He did not mention Israel, which is usually referred to by Hamas as the “Zionist enemy.”

Israel has treated hundreds of Gaza Arabs in its hospitals despite the impression, falsely generated by mass media, that the Jewish State has blockaded Gaza and has caused the deaths of local Arabs by not allowing them to enter Israel for care.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldier Shalit is assumed to be alive in Gaza nearly four years after Hamas and Army of Islam terrorists kidnapped him in a deadly attack on an IDF checkpoint at a Gaza crossing. Several weeks before the attack, Hamas threatened to carry out kidnapping operations of Israeli soldiers in order to release Arab terrorists.
On Sunday morning, in 'gratitude' to Israel, Hamas released a 3D animated film showing Gilad Shalit in a coffin.
Exactly 1400 days after IDF soldier St.-Sgt. Gilad Schalit was captured, Hamas military arm Izzadin A-Qassam Brigades released a 3D animated video Sunday morning depicting him returning to Israel in a coffin

The three-minute video shows Noam Schalit, the captured soldier’s father, wandering the streets with a photo of his son in his hand. Gilad’s voice, as heard in two tapes previously released by Hamas, can be heard in the background. As Noam Schalit is walking, he passes photographs of former prime minister Ehud Olmert and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, symbolizing the passage of time.

When Noam Schalit is shown as elderly and walking with a cane, the following text appears on the screen: “Finally, the Israeli government’s efforts succeed. After exchanging prisoners, Noam Schalit finally meets his son Gilad.”

The elderly Noam Schalit is shown sitting at the Erez border crossing and waiting as a coffin with an Israeli flag draped over it is taken out of a military car. "No!" he screams, and wakes up in the protest tent in Jerusalem; it was all a dream.

The video ends with the text “there is still hope,” and the Izzadin A-Qassam Brigades symbol.
Those who are kind to those who are cruel end up being cruel to those who are kind. The Israeli government still doesn't get it.

What could go wrong?

Only the Stupid Jews would do something for the Hamas barbarians without expecting anything in return. The least Israel could have insisted on in exchange for its help is a Red Cross visit to Shalit.

They didn't even ask for it! And Israel wonders why the world treats it with contempt. If Jews don't demand respect for themselves, no one else is going to give it to them.

Maimonides explained in his Epistle to the Jews of Yemen, "When we tell the Arab, ‘Come, I want to help you and see to your needs,’ he doesn’t look at us like gentlemen. He sees weakness and then the wolf shows what he can do.”"

Doh!

carl,

seriously...you would bargain for the life of a child?

you do know how the world media would have reported it.

of course, she will probably grow up to be a suicide bomber, and the surgery was meaningless...but still

Carl, it's way past what could go wrong. It is simply "what has gone wrong". I am not suprised by anything coming out of our country these days. Insanity does not justly describe it's actions.

I nominate Bacci40's post as part of the symptom.

"What will the goyim say?"

Here, Bacci40, let me teach you by example.

Phone rings in Erez checkpoint office.

Hamasnic: "My poor baby 3 year old daughter needs emergency treatment. I'm bringing her in!"

IDF officer: "If Gilad Shalit is not brought over alive and well with your daughter, go f**k yourselves. You have 3 minutes for both of them to get here before this offer expires."

BS"D Bibi failed us by not demanding something. But on the other hand, regardless of what happens, the Jews saved a child's life perhaps. I, too, would like make her an orphan, but in terms of Hashem's law - Israel did the right thing. They should have thought about saving Gilad's life first, though.

Lo hishlimu.

Lo techayeh neshama.

Shy Guy

im sorry, but we are not animals

israeli medics and doctors have tended to wounded arabs in the battlefield.

i personally dont care what the world thinks, but i do know that we are better than allowing a child to be used for political means...i leave that to the arabs, who have no problem at all parading their dead (and sometimes not really dead) children in front of the world's cameras.

the world will make up israel committing attrocities...why lend them a hand?

It is a crime in Judaism to save someone's life who will most likely grow up to hurt a Jew, or a righteous Gentile. - If this woman, or anyone of the children she bears [may HaShem protect us], harms a Jew the blood is partially on Israel's hands. - With 1,400 years track record the risk is high enough to judge without fear of error.
