Why didn't McCain say things like this two years ago? If he had, he might have had a chance of winning.

Good reaction from the journos. Perhaps it's all starting to sink in.
McCain still wouldn't stand a chance of winning, but the election would've been a lot closer than it was, thus denying Obama a mandate.

since losing the election, mccain has been all over the map.
he is good at attacking obama...but thats it.
he may not even survive his reelection
